The shot That Counts Tournament to benefit The Cut that Counts Foundation.
 3 levels of supporting sponsors.

WHY:
The Shot That Counts is a fundraiser event to help support The Cut that Counts Foundation’s missions. Giving hope with haircuts. The Cut that Counts Foundation was started in early 2020 right before the covid 19 pandemic. Our mission is to give hope through haircuts. Our mission right now is to earn enough funds to help out with  The CTC Workforce Project and building a mobile barbershop to help take care of Wounded, disabled, homeless, extended stay hospital patients, hospice and less fortunate Veterans (not limited exclusively).

The CTC workforce Project:
This project is designed to take homeless veterans/veterans and give them access to a series of workshops designed to get them back into the workforce.  This will be a 3 day event with a tailored job fair on the last day.   The candidates will be vetted by completing a series of interviews and volunteering a urine sample.

Candidates must show enthusiasm and be willing to be compliant during the process in order to be selected.

Once selected, candidates will be given grooming services to help boost appearance and attitude, as well as casual and business attire for future job placement.

Grooming will include a consultation for proper work clothes.   Dinner will be provided while listening to a speaker explain the remainder of the agenda.

Morning 2:

Candidates will be put through a resume building class while volunteers help to bring out helpful information that can be put into resume form.

After lunch – Candidates will be put through mock interviews while being taught how to answer questions from potential employers to boost confidence and how to be comfortable during an interview. They will then break for dinner and given time to relax and spend time with other candidates to bond and help boost confidence within the group.

Morning 3:

Breakfast will be served and there will be a Q&A for any unanswered questions. A motivational speaker will then be introduced to boost morale and energy to all candidates.  They will change into their business attire as we bring in employers for the real interview.  We will hold a job fair that will have twice as many employers as candidates in order to increase the probability of being hired.

5 STAND TOURNAMENT

5-STAND Sporting events consist of targets shot in 25 bird increments from five shooting stands with each shooter rotating from station to station. The game offers several different skill levels and utilizes six or eight automatic traps to simulate game birds. NSCA 5-STAND Sporting rules must be followed at all times while conducting this event.
